Boutique DeShon’s Aftercare Instructions

Now that you have your lash extensions there is the care after the lashing.

Maintaining lash extensions is nit complex. There somethings you need to know:

Your lash cycle is four to twelve weeks, so you want to make sure you’re taking care of them.

Keep them dry for 2 to 6 hours, recommend 48 hours (which is the time it takes for the adhesive to completely bond). No saunas, hot yoga, heated showers,or facials during this time. After time time you can resume all normal activities.

Keep oils away, nothing containing oils near your lash extensions. Mascara is a no (this is for you not to use mascara). Oil base skin care can ruin your lashes, you would want to choose anything that is not oil based.

Do not use eyelash curlers and do not perm your eyelash extension, this could damage your lash extensions.

If you are a smoker please be careful of burning your lash extensions. You can also burn them cooking or grilling.  Make sure your face is away from oven/grill when opening it.

Do not try to remove any of your lash extensions yourself, this could damage your extensions and natural lash.

You need to Shampoo your lashes a minimal of 3 times a week. Please ask your lash tech how to do so and about lash shampoo.

Do not sleep on lash extensions as this could cause them to fall out prematurely.

Please make sure you are booking your appointment every 2 to 3 weeks to keep your lash extensions looking beautiful.
